Over the last few days, we’ve received questions about our plans for the Health & Wellness seminar this April 15-17 in Nashville.
We want to provide you with a few updates and resources. First, be assured that the LRIS team is closely monitoring travel advisories and has been in touch with our hotel in Nashville. There are no plans to cancel or reschedule the seminar. We are aware that this situation is fluid, and the decision to hold the seminar could be taken out of our hands due to local governmental restrictions. Please be assured that in case of cancellation or rescheduling, all registrants will receive a full refund from LRIS and the Embassy Suites Hotel.
Currently, no federal restrictions are in place to prevent meetings and travel in the United States and no local restrictions are in place for holding a meeting in Nashville.
The CDC has recently addressed the specific issue of air travel:
From the CDC’s website: Because of how air circulates and is filtered on airplanes, most viruses and other germs do not spread easily on airplanes. Although the risk of infection on an airplane is low, travelers should try to avoid contact with sick passengers and wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer that contain 60%–95% alcohol.
At the seminar, we will have plenty of hand sanitizer available. If you see any issues in the hotel that you think should be addressed from a cleanliness standpoint, please alert an LRIS or hotel employee.
Read the hotel’s response to COVID-19.
If you have questions, please email us at info@LRIS.com or call our office at 503-282-5440.
We thank you for your support and look forward to welcoming you to Nashville next month.
