Massachusetts State Police Fire 11 troopers, 1 Sergeant Over Vaccine Mandate

A spokesman for the Massachusetts State Police said 11 troopers and one sergeant were fired Friday for failing to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

The spokesman said the fired troopers were dishonorably discharged.

Gov. Charlie Baker signed an executive order in August requiring all executive branch employees to provide proof of vaccination by Oct. 17.

The troopers’ union blasted the governor.
