The union for State Police troopers is pushing a bill in the Legislature that they say will mean “equal pay for equal work.”
“When you call 911, it’s because you need help … You need the most trained, most professional people to show up,” State Police Association of Massachusetts President Patrick McNamara told the Herald. “Right now, there is little incentive to become educated in the Massachusetts State Police.”
