Wages, Not Work Environment, Drove North Hampton Police Department, Union Says

NORTH HAMPTON — The town’s Select Board has released an email from the police union stating wages were the No. 1 concern of the remaining officers in the town police department after a mass exodus. 

Town Administrator Michael Tully released the email that stated, “Per your request during the meeting on April 10, 2023, the North Hampton Police Department Union’s list of concern is as follows: Competitive pay with retention and new hire incentives.”
