Cleveland Mayor Proposes Age Limit Increase For Police Officers

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb is proposing an amendment to a city ordinance that would raise the maximum age for cadets on the Cleveland Division of Police to 55 years old, according to a release from the city.

The proposal, if passed, would amend the 2012 ordinance that capped the age at 40.
