Louisville Firefighters Vote No On New 5-Year Contract

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Fire Union rank-and file members have voted no on the contract negotiated with the city, Union President Jeff Taylor said.

According to Taylor, 51 percent of firefighters voted no and 49 percent voted yes.

In the contract, the city and union had negotiated a 24 percent raise over five years, retroactive from 2023.
