Pittsburgh Police Candidates Allowed To Retake Their Psychological Evaluations After Dozens Failed

Pittsburgh police are reviewing how they evaluate potential recruits psychologically after about two dozen candidates were rejected from the bureau. 

The vast majority of candidates who received conditional offers were rejected on psychological grounds in early May, delaying plans for a recruit class during a time when more officers are retiring or leaving the bureau than joining.
